Be careful though, Brian. I've seen a few mixed reviews.
I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt, not that fancy store-bought dirt... I can't compete with that stuff.

Even austin reed do bespoke now. It's not the same as Saville Row (or even your friendly Hong Kong tailor), but you'll definitely get something that fits properly...

That suit will be pinned at the back to give it a 'figure hugging' look for the picture, the suit will not be cut like that as the average British man will be pretty out of shape and the suit will be made to be sold to the average British man.

The general rule for suits is that the top button if pulled away should only come away 2 inches from the chest. They are implying that the cut does that from the image but they are fitting a mannequin.

The one button cut and the light colour are too fashionable. It’ll be out of fashion in a year and you’ll never wear it again without looking like a used car salesman. Buy a good quality dark grey suit, possibly with pinstripe, and preferably tailoired in a traditional 2 or 3 button cut (not double breasted). Get 2 pairs of trousers with it and you can’t go far wrong.

              Mich, it's for a wedding - not a funeral.

Fair enough. I’m such a parsimonious git I buy suits for general use. Only Mrs Tester buys clothes for a special occasion, and that’s usually from my credit card.

I've got suits, lots and lots of suits - I want a new one though for the wedding, all things considered I'll probably go bespoke, there's a good little place in Belfast that'll do it but it's certainly not cheap.

As for Dark Grey, I'd always suggest Navy Blue for adaptability

Hmm, yes, a matter of personal taste but navy blue can work well too. Personally I have a problem with navy blue; somehow I struggle to see the difference between dark blue and black, which means I am liable to put on a black jacket with blue trousers of vice versa. I even once bought a dark blue car thinking it was black. I always check with the shop assistant whether something really is black before buying it.
