Planning to splash a grand on a new TV imminently, maybe snag a PS3 too.

Incidentally has anyone seend the new LED TV PCWorld just got in? It's £1500 for a 40" IIRC, but it is literally 1" thick and the picture was just beautiful, almost like the first time you saw a HD TV...

A Nike+iPod, not shiny but very geeky. I'm now getting into the nikeplus website and posting up my runs. It's quite motivating to put on the trainers and get out knowing that you can see improvement.

But my old 4gb ipod nano is now too small for my running playlists so I have to get a bigger one.

and I've fallen in love with a pink Omega watch - it's only the sensible part of me whispering that the strap will get grubby that's stopping me from buying it...

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
