Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I wish they'd stop having concerts at Twickenham. Makes it very difficult to get to Tesco.

I thought this thread was about gigs, not the last time you got arrested

Kenny Rogers a couple of weeks back - I had 3rd row seats and pretty much cried hysterically the whole way through.

          He was absolutely awesome

(cant remember anythingh else they did, but "babys got a gun" seems to ring a bell)
Yes, on both counts. "Baby's got a gun" was the third album, by which time their complete lack of any commercial success was taking its toll.

They started playing together again a couple of years ago. It is a bit of a surprise to everyone that the singer is still alive given his heroin consumption over the years.

Here is a clip of them back in the days when they had so much potential:

I was stood next to somebody who spent the whole gig hurling obscenities at the band. He'd been a fan for years but had only just discovered that night that they are 3 Brummies and a Jock & have no West Country roots at all!

Inspired by this thread I had a look at upcoming gigs in Manchester and discovered that Oasis are playing at Heaton Park for 3 nights in june.
I live 7 minutes walk away from Heaton Park.
I really do dislike Oasis I dont like thier music at all.
I suppose the whole of North Manchester will be clogged up with traffic - why was I not informed!!!

I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

I've done quite well of late on the gig front

Last one was Metallica at the MEN arena and Three Doors Down at the Acadamy and Roger Waters before that. My next one is Download, then Counting Crows - although I might not be able to make that one due to work! and then the Eagles.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                      I preferred version 1!
