End Tony Blairs vacation and urge him to create a Middle East Peace Focus group to explore possible solutions in a cost effective way.

Israel should just reclaim the 1967 land and stop wasting time giving it back when all they get as thanks are rockets from the ungrateful people who move into those lands

You originally said that Israel should give back the stolen land. But it wasn't stolen from the Palestinians. It was stolen from Egypt, Syria and Jordan. So they should give it back to those country. Then Egypt, Syria and Jordan can give the land to the Palestinians. But they won't do that. As they didn't before 1967.

I think things can be solved.

If it went back to the Pickle2 solution, hamas would be marginalised. They are a reaction to Israel's aggression / crimes, rather than being based on any true ideology.

There will always be some nutters that want to destroy a country, and that is what the secret services are for. Full blown destruction of civilian infrastructure will just promote radicalism.

At the moment I don't think Israel (or Zionist sympathisers (USA)) want peace.

say, didn't Ben Netanyahu(sp?) show a map with a huge Israel and his vision was that Israel would one day encompasss all that area?

What I'd like to know is that there are Arabs living in Israel..so what is the problem with simply absorbing the Palestinians into Israel. Oh yeah...then it would cease to be a Jewish land. And there would be about 3 million Arabs on the dole....settlers would lose their right to shoot Arabs on sight.

                    What a shame.

No, you are not listening. Im saying that they should bypass Egypt, Syria and Jordan, and give the land stolen in 1967 (that WAS under control of those countries) and give it directly to the Palestinian people. If they want peace, they need to create the peace. And that means sacrificing all of their spoils of that war. Whether they started the war or not. In fact, they need to go further than that to help create a valid and functional Palestinian state. See my point about a land corridor between Gaza and the west bank.

But I think the expansionist nature and the rediculous idea of some kind of biblical ancestral right to the land of the Zionist people means they just cant stomach the thought of doing what is needed to create peace.

To create two states, where only one currently exsists, means that that one state in question will have to make sacrafices. There can be no other way. How else can you make two from one?
