I know a guy whose been benched for 3 months, but he's very now optimistic as he's just received an email from an agency he's never heard of asking him to update his cv and supply refs to prepare for a 'clutch of new opprtunities' in the New Year. What could be more boomed than that

Sorry to hear he had to go to Germany .Originally posted by BlasterBates View PostSo how are we doing ?
A colleague of mine fairly easily got a new contract in Germany.
Doesn't seem that bad.
Couldn't he find work in Holland or Belgium ?Last edited by AlfredJPruffock; 19 December 2008, 13:57.Comment

UK market alot quieter than europe in my sector (Pharma and clinical research) - but lots of stuff in europe still.
lots of projects will be starting in the new year too from what i hear and when new budgets come through so it looks ok"I'm more of a warrior than you'll ever be. I believe in the class war. I believe in the battle of the sexes. I believe in my tribe. I believe in the righteous, inteligent clued-up section of society against the brain-dead moronic masses as well as the mediocre, soulless bourgeoisie. I believe in punk rock. In northern soul. In acid house. In mod. In rock and roll. I also believe in pre commercial righteous, rap and hip hop. Thats my manifesto"Comment

Unusual this. For 6 months its been dead for me. The last week I've had a number of enquiries from trustworthy sources for new gigs in the New Year. I hope things do get better. It's been really dead lately. I'm OK till July 09 now.Public Service Posting by the BBC - Bloggs Bulls**t Corp.
