Yes he was black, I think you will find that a vast majority of black people are not yardies.

Funny how you assume I'm being racist just because I described him as a yardie, he wasn't dressed in a suit with a copy of the FT under his arm, he was dressed and behaved like a stereotypical 'gangsta', how would you describe him?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Purple Dalek is right about that result of one of the burglars being killed. The other burglar had a string of convistions for violent muggings specialising in women with young children. They also stopped in the area while he was off the streets. Alas he came back and so did the crimes.

I don't believe in the death penalty. But if God would just take people like them to his holy bosom eaerlier rather than later, I'd certainly believe in Him.

You got any better ideas for dealing with people like that? Any ideas??

Better ideas than dealing out death to those that you think deserve it?

            Yes. The law.

Well, of course. Just make it legal to use lethal force to defend oneself. Then it is, ipso facto, The Law.

Massive rumble in the pub across the road from me last night, spilled outside where there was about 20 folk going at it. Place is usually very posh.

My father said he saw people being birched as a child, and never saw one come back a second time.
