Yes and that was many centuries ago when Christianity was very aggressive, Islam is a young religion and perhaps it is going through the same aggressive period, though one has to note that explicit aggression in this case is put down in writing rather than in interpretations of the Pope or what not.

I note here that Hindiusm/Buddhism does not appear to be involved in violence on the scale of Christianity or Islam, which is why I mentioned it in the first place - if I were to rank these 3 religions by aggressive and violence I'd get:

I am trying to focus on the original topic where as you are trying to take it away - are effectively trying to argue here that my base premise that if Islam was dominant in India at times of Ghandi then they would not choose peaceful solution that in my was influenced by their religion (Hinduism - I accepted correction) was wrong?

You missed and Judaism, although theses days it is not the Jews but political Israel supported by fundamentalist Christians in the US .

Christianity and Islam are based on the Jewish Torah. It’s the Torah that told people to stone women for adultery and made up stories that other peoples land is really theirs as a gift of God.
