I spent a couple of hours the other day playing Call of Duty 4 on a friend's PS3, and couldn't get used to the joystick. The motion is stodgy and slow compared to nipping around in Quake and suchlike on a PC using the keyboard.

I'm of the same opinion, doing something like a "circle of death" with the controller is nigh-on impossible for me. My son however is amazingly adept with the PS3 controller, and runs circles around the majority of people he plays online. I think he find using a mouse/keyboard quite alien now.

I don't know about that, tay. He can hardly sit there in his undies, bottle of beer at his side, playing Grand Theft Auto IV for 8 hours a day, with his in-laws there.
