At the risk of invoking Godwins law, Germany also did a fair bit of construction work, with the help of that chappie with the moustache. -
Hadrian's Wall is one of my favourite things. Built to demarcate the limit of Roman interest i.e. "Scotland's not worth the bother". And here we are, nearly 2000 years on and, you know what...?Originally posted by TheBigYinJames View PostOnly this time, around Dover.Comment

The Romans made a point of trading with their equals such as the Scots, and only conquering softie barbaric races, such as the Germanic tribes, the Gauls and the English.Originally posted by Bob Dalek View PostHadrian's Wall is one of my favourite things. Back in my younger days I did my degree in Leeds and my folks moved to Aberdeen. The National Express coach from Leeds to Aberdeen took 11 hours and 45 mins. As a result I didn't go home too often.Originally posted by swamp View PostI've never been to Leeds, but I'm sure it's very near Scotland. They can get a bus the rest of the way.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
