    There's no purple glow on the southern horizon as yet. Anyway, AIUI they don't start the actually collisions until October.
    Hawkings is good, but overrated by himself and the masses I feel.
    IANASAPP, but I thought it was the Higgs boson that impresses the masses.

    IGMC.

            He could give Rory Bremner a run for his money if he updated! Even my Tom Tom can do half decent Ozzy Osbourne.
            Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                <self deprecating joke>
                When the missusheard about Big Bang Day, she thought she was in for a treat tonight.

                When I explained about the infinitesimal small particle accelerator she muttered something about no change there then...

                Anyway, I did read what Hawking said. Basically if they find the Higgs boson, Higgs and a couple of other chaps who predicted it's existence will get the nobel.

                If they don't he will probably get it.

                He also said the chance of producing a black hole (even a tiny one) from the LHC was about 1%.

                  This is an automated response, there is nobody here to respond to your enquiry. You may wish to watch "I am legend" while you wait.
                  I am not qualified to give the above advice!

                    I'm pretty sure it was a guy called Higgs who predicted it, not Hawking. Hawking is the black-hole wheel chair guy.
