As usual you chip in and make up something based on your bigoted opinion rather than what I said. The op said bush was hated and I voiced an opinion on that. If I had to choose between Bush and Putin, I'd probably choose Bush, but it's not much of a choice really is it?

there are some people who are natural haters anyway and nothing you do (short of kiss their ring on a regular basis) will change that

life's too short accept the fact some will hate you no matter what your viewpoits are and some will accept you for being who you are.

and lets face it the bitter twisted people who judge the value of their life on how they measure up against other are not worth knowing.

unfortuanetly it seems that soaps on tv seem to promote this kind of behaviour as acceptable and so the unwashed masses who are raised on a diet of eastenders and micro chips will always hate you if you try to do anything other than fit in with their narrow minded blinkered view of life.

          or something

I don't mind socialising with people who have different or opposing political or religious views.

Increasingly I find the hard left can't handle those with different or opposing political or religious views, to the point they can't even socialise with those that do.

So you think it is a great song, and was blacklisted by Radio 1 because of its religious content. You really are a nutter aren't you.

It was the WORST song he's EVER done. And one of the worst I've ever heard - secular or not. It was rubbish, painful, embarrassing, crass, execrable.

Aside from any other failings you may or may not have, as indicated by others on this forum, you also have no musical taste or sense.

                  Even after this?

I don't know what C79 is complaining about really: John 15:18-19 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."

But the idea is that they hate you because you are like Jesus, not that they hate you because you are an annoying little tit, or as some would have it, illegally invade Iraq or whatever.

there's plenty of awful songs being played on that station. Cliff's song went to no1. It's clearly the underlying reason was the beeb's loathing of religion.
