That is unfortunately always the major reason.

They go up to sort out the mess left by labour. infact after the previous labour govt they also had to strip the Uk of all the leeches that were sponging off the taxpayer (namely the miners and other trade unionists).

Now the next govt is going to have to sort out the mess left by NL and their largesse. If I were the conservatives I would throw the next election and leave labour to sort it out all out.

Let me turn the question around.

Please tell me in what way a new Conservative government taking over now would be any worse than the current government. What is there to lose by voting Conservative at the next election?

        Answers on a postcard please.

You know, the last time Tories were in power, interest rates were 15%, lots of people went broke. Labour can't hack it either, Liberals don't have much idea of what to do!

Why not try Britains newest Political Party? Its called "The Pagan Party", it seeks to promote true domocracy by enabling people to actually vote for the things they want, instead of telling them how their taxes etc are going to be spent. You know its time for a change, you know that its time You were truly represented, by a politition who does not "disappear" after You voted for them, One who does Not vote with the Whip, one who cares about Your Community.

        Bright Blessings.
