Home air conditioning - wall mounted

I am after a quiet wall mounted air conditioning unit for the new pad - if there is any neighbourly noise, I will be able to shut the windows and stay nice and cool

As new place all on one level, it will be good for cooling the whole house over seriously hot summers as well for good measure.

Anyone got any experiences, good or bad?

Yes I am - bedroom in the middle of the house, and it is all on the one floor. My portable one does the same job as the professionally installed one I am after, but, is far too noisy.

Quiet running is the most important thing....

I have 6 units - 2 toshiba and 4 daikin. My builder never recommends anything other than those 2 - seems anything less is far inferior.

He is terminally unable to get on with his neighbours. Oh and it's all made up anyway.
