It wouldn't be so bad if yesterday hadn't been the same.

It's worse. Yesterday was beautifully warm, but I was doing shopping, cleaning and generally lazing around. I was hoping to get out and about today.

Ohhh we had fisticuffs outside St Pancras tonight, taxi driver had stopped his vehicle and was wrestling and punching with some other guy on the pavement, both middle aged and not what I'd consider angry young men.
Public spirited persons had intervened by the time I drew alongside but I did hear the non taxi driver chap (who came off worse in the affray) cursing in some foreign tongue (poss Eastern European)so it looks like it was Sun reading Brit versus johnny bloody foreigner

Had a haircut on my way in yesterday and got greeted with comments about how smart I looked. Italian job, cut throat razor for the back of the neck and round the ears. Pleasant lass, but too much pasta in her diet.



On the train home the carriage was full of army lads, presumably on their way home for the weekend for the Swiss National Day on the first of August. The ticket inspector completely bypassed the army lads, and me as well. I must look respeccable
