    Grey and slight precipitation

    Left on time

    Arrived on time

Local rag highlights SE trains want to extend schedule by one minute... original times were 32 mins (which is easily achievable)

Then it went to an advertised 37 mins

    Now they want 38 mins

Thin end of wedge m'thinks but at least the trains will never be late…

    No-name traction unit today

Ticket inspection on bendy bus today – first time I’d seen the hand held scanning device for Oyster tickets

Lots of people suddenly got off the bus…. which was nice

Cold but now sunny and first frost of the season

Late leaving, 6 mins late arriving

Journey time 35 mins 15 secs

      No wobble

Loco pulling was the Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson

Bus to work was late too

        Bright & sunny

        Not as cold as yeaterday

Trains late joining up due to rear loco being stuck at signals

3mins 36 secs late leaving (according to platform indicators)

Our "onboard manager" Sean announced the apology for the slight delay in leaving and we were now 2 &1/2 mins late!!

& FFS Sean is Scottish... ergo a twat and therefore on my list

        ....as is his watch

        No wobble

        No name loco today

Journey time of 35 mins 15secs

3 mins late into St P

Accosted by Big Issue seller walking from StP to bus stop - their new tactic is to walk alongside the punters & sell rather than the traditional model of static pitching.

He tried sarcasm when his sales pitch failed... & I replied in kind

I've noticed on the return journey in the evening, the chuggers outside Kings Cross are using the same tactic

The challenge is to see how far you can "walk them" before they give up - bonus points if you can get them to cross a road

Bus was bendy and full of the wonders of London

Train was on time, I was not. Next one was only 3 mins later but it meant I missed the usual ferry.

Lazy should have got out of bed earlier.

Edit: Skies are Blue but there's a chill in the wind.

              Remarkable!

Lots of pretty young things on the train this morning... must be a conference in town

No Big Issue sellers outside StP - is it signing on day?

              Bendy Bus to work

Sky's blue overhead but dark clouds threatening the horizon.

Got my lazy posterior out of my pit earlier today after yesterdays sorry performance.

Train was on time allowing for a coffee and croissant before the ferry.

Flight home tomorrow can't come soon enough.

Train was on time but left no gap for coffee n' croissant today

Couldn't have drank it anyway with coat and hood done up.

                  Nevermind, Flight home tonight.

                    no-name loco today

non bendy bus to work today

Walked into a maelstrom at work - seems once again the offshore chappies have failed to deliver ...panic & headless chickens running around

Felt like saying 'what did you expect' taken till now to get a recovery plan in place

Regretfully the plan does not include shooting those responsible for engaging the offshorers

Ho hum - it pays the bills
