      The police might not be that interested, unless there was some dangerous driving involved but that isn't the case. Basically you just register the incident, and explan what happened. That's it. The insurance companies will then decide, they can usually determine what happened if they want to by examining the damage. If the car was in front of you then it won't be clear cut.

                      hello,

                      are you sure you're not the one on medication ?

                      as has already been suggested, go to the police station and get the incident and your side of the story down on paper while it is all fresh including the tablets box he wrote his details on, are you sure they are his tablets and not somebody elses ?
