    no of course not.
I was writing a VB module for my latest migration project , whilst watching a recording of Dr Who with my left eye, simultaniously performing some knife crime on a teenager.

      eo,

      my advice,

as you believe you were in the right,

I would suggest to call or visit the the local police station today, tell them what happened, and ask them what to do about it - this way you have everything out in the open and no surprises to fear - perhaps do it at lunch time.

If you just wait and see what happens, you run the risk of not reporting an accident to the police etc

      what do you think

      Milan.

Police are only interested in a vehicular accident where a person is injured or an obstruction of the public highway is occurring.
They will simply tell you it is a civil matter. end of story.

You only need to report an accident if someone is injured :-

you dont need to report this one to the police - though it wont do any harm.

thanks. Thats what I wanted to know

now, what about the insurance company, do I have to anything, or do I have a choice.

its a roundabout with one exit leading to a slip road of the m60, I am on the roundabout in the left hand lane, there are two lanes on the roundabout. I let a guy in from the right then find myself 'kissing' a second car who is also trying to pull into my lane

Its his fault. He was changing lane so by default caused the accident. Insurance company, police etc will all see if like that.

                    WHS

But there is the odd twist :-

"It’s peculiar, but if you hit a horse, cattle, ass, mule, sheep, pig, goat or dog" - I am suprised the list does not include cat

I unfortunately killed a fox in 1997(well I was upset) - I told the police and the policeman told me not to waste his time. The policewoman had a go at him for lack of empathy - but said technically he was correct.

Is there any proof as to who was changing lane? The other driver will claim it was EO - and he has a (non-independent) witness.
