WAGs
They say:
'A successful man is the one that earns more than his wife spends' and:
'A successful woman is the one that could find such a man'
Seriously, I think it's a big mistake to introduce yourself as an IT contractor (or whatever else attracts WAGs) and even bigger to tell them what you are earning.
Easy to spot really, most aren't even working and all ask the same first qn: 'where do you work?' as opposed to: 'What do you do for a living?'
Just say that you work in an office/shop/factory and see the look on their faces (works for most of them).
I've known some IT guys getting married to some local 'beauties', also some from Eastern Europe and the Far East, only to discover staright away that were duped and getting into messy divorces, so IMO:
'A successful man is the one his wife doesn't know how much he earns'
