It’s amazing isn’t it? Such an obvious gap in the market with a huge demand, but can anyone come up with a viable product to meet it? Not on your nelly.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I was. You should have tried the early 70's. You're wrong to blame Thatcher: her policies hurt because they were correcting too many bad things. What the current generation of Guardinista chattering classes also conveniently forget is that her government told the UK clearly that what they had to do would hurt (not a cat in hell's chance a modern MP would do that - people get sacked for telling the truth these days), would put 3.5m out of work for a while and would take out union power as a force in UK Governemnt, but after that we would be going upwards. It was also working quite nicely until Blair/Brown stopped that plan in around 2001 when they thought they had a better idea...

So now we have to start all over again, and the unthinking massess will blame the next government, whoever they are, for having to do it and will forget which clowns actually made it necessary.
      Blog? What blog...?

Well it has become obvious that Labour should not ever run the country again.

Here we are with high taxes, high government debt, slumping economy, shoddy education system and a sky high cost of living. Is there really a reason to live here - other than fish and chips?

Are you suggesting that Major and his corrupt cronies should have been allowed to stay in power?

'Cash for questions' looks a bit lame against 'Cash for policy' and 'Cash for peerages'.

Any dodgyness under Major was several orders of magnitude smaller than the living dystopia that is Britain under nuLieBore.

At the time it was big news. Tim Bell stood in Tatton against Neil Hamilton?

                    Friends and family?

There has to be a certain type of person who can simply up sticks and move elsewhere. I watch some of these people on TV who want to move at a relatively young age and think dont they have any friends?
