Ok sunshine, here we go. This is an "IT Contractors Forum", populated by IT contractors(ex, current and wannabes), IT Consultants, Rec Cons, and jobbing carpenters/lisping idiots like yourself.

The very fact that someone decides to move from a salaried role to that of a contractor or consultant marks them out as being "above average". Above average intelligence probably, above average income usually but one thing is for certain, they are not average.

I'm surprised you couldn't work that one out for yourself.

Exactly. I bet most regular posters here could breeze into Mensa. But it's a bit like joining the BCS - There may be a few sound people one could meet, but a good many members are probably pain-in-the-ass quarrelsome egotists or (more the case of Mensa) borderline autistics.
