You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

That programme so biased to pro-immigration it was unreal.
"look there's a yob drinking lager, lets ask them about immigrants and working in a field for 16 hrs a day on min wage."
Not exactly good journalism.
Personally I'm more concerned with the people from whatever country in the UK illegally. All the poles I know work and pay their taxes..Comment

but surely immigrates aren't new news are they? we've had probably nearly 80 years of so called cheap labour filling gaps in our UK workforce from grave yard shifts in the mills to highly skilled doctors.
Its just another excuse not to work for the flippers who think marriage counseling is a 20 minute slot on Jeremy Kyle.
My son can't read - lets blame the blacks
I'm too depressing to work - blame it on the Irish
I can't be arsed to get up in the morning - lets blame the Pakistanis
The bottom line is if you dont want to do the jobs on offer then educate yourself to do something better, in the meantime, get to the back of the queue becuase I have 100 other people willing to work.Comment

Face it, the BBC themselves admit they are politically biased so please don’t take what they present at face value. Good journalism is not brainwashing, hiding facts from the public and presenting things in a one sided manner.

Yes, we are biased on religion and politics, admit BBC executives

Not at all but my point is that you cant trust a so called unbiased BBC to give you the facts. Better to go your personal experiences. So on this point you agreeComment

I don't agree with you at all. If you want our young "chavs" to get off the heroin and be productive then I suggest the first step is to destroy the culture of permissiveness, hedonism and entitlement that creates them in the first place. Do you think Poles were born with a special gene that makes them work harder or do you think perhaps they were raised in a homogeneous state that’s predominantly Catholic and with strong culture / family values?Comment

While the topic brought up is one of the most memorable from the program the program made other points including while immigration is good for some of the immigrants and employers in the region it wasn't good for everyone including some of the immigrants themselves.
Originally posted by Nicky G View PostI agree, but that's not the point. When my father was in hospital in the private patient wing at St Thomas’ when he had cancer there were a large number of Filipino nurses. All unbelievably friendly, polite, understanding. Probably working ten hour shifts for minimum wage. Does this mean however we import a million of them as well? Or a million Texans because they have a solid work ethic?"You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

The Benefit State created by Labour is a deliberate action so that Labour has a large and willing population base who will vote for them every time.
Labour do not care about the country. They care only about staying in power and creating a feeding frenzy for themselves. By creating a base of dependents they have effectively given themselves a serious headstart in each election.Comment
