There are not as many 'Joes' as you would think. All we ever hear about in the media is the delinquents, for every one of them they're are several decent hard working people.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Yes, and their English is coming along nicely.

I was merely presenting a caricature.

I'm KNOW there are plenty of honest, aspirational young people out there. I was at an awards ceremony the other night, and many of the awards were for young people who had excelled in arts and sports. It was truly uplifting to speak to them and their parents. Gave me real hope.

Unfortunately, there are still a heck of a lot of Joes out there.

So watching this programme on BBC 2 the poles migrating to Briton for work for better money and not much else, nothing new in that.

Interviewer to the polish man in the field picking butternut squash at 6am: "A lot of English people say the immigrants are taking all the jobs away and leaving them with nothing, what do you say to that?"

Pole "we don't take away the jobs the English are just too lazy to do them"

The interviewer proceeded to the job centre to the louts hanging outside drinking beer "What do you think about all those immigrants?"

Lout "there coming here taking all our jobs, working for £2 n hour aren't they, it's f'ff''n disgrace no one will employ us"

interviewer "what if I offered you a job for £7 an hour right now, would you be interested?"

          lout "yeeeahhh"

          Interviewer "picking butternut squash?"

Lout "fook that, it's easier to join the dole ain't it"
I guess it never occurred to you that the BBC has a political leaning that is aligned with New Lie's pro EU / destroy the nation state / national identity agenda? I mean I've NEVER seen the BBC present political issues in a biased way, especially not issues of mass immigration, which the majority of the country is against.

            Agree with Nicky G.

That programme so biased to pro-immigration it was unreal.

"look there's a yob drinking lager, lets ask them about immigrants and working in a field for 16 hrs a day on min wage."

            Not exactly good journalism.

I presume you didn't watch the program I did.

The program also showed things including:
                      1. The shortage of labour in Poland
                      2. The lack of men for young Polish women in Poland
                      3. Problems with policing due to brothels and drink driving and the language difficulties. The police have to have interpretors with them.
                      4. A councillor in his ward showing over crowded housing including one with mould growing everywhere , and rubbish problems - fly tipping as people can't read the recycling notices
                      5. An old lady isolated as she is unable to talk to her neighbours as they don't speak English
                      6. Over crowded schools where there is not enough money for more places
                      7. The Polish take over of shops, cafe's etc
                      8. The problems in GP's surgeries due to the language difficulties and the fact they needed to use an interpretor telephone line meaning consultations take longer
