I used to be young - i started contracting straight from uni because I couldn't get a job. That was 18 years ago. Now I'm old!
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
I started contracting because I'm too old to start work as a permie. The upper age limit for someone lookoing to be a permie in IT tends to be 35-40.
When you're a contractor, no-one cares how old you are because clients don't have to start thinking in terms of pension benefits etc
