You and friend take a shopping trolley each around the supermarket. Each put identical goods in.Originally posted by realityhack View PostEnjoy permanent '2 for 1' promotions on all your favourite goods by placing one item into your shopping basket, and the other in your coat pocket.
One goes and pays and passes receipt to friend with full trolley then goes and dumps their shopping in the car.
Friend goes through a till carrying the receipt and a pint of milk and says at the till "Oops, had to come back for this milk".
THIS IS VERY ILLEGAL AND YOU DIDN'T HEAR IT FROM ME. I WAS NEVER A UNIVERSITY STUDENT SO HAVE NEVER NEEDED TO DO SUCH THINGS TO EAT. I ALSO SUSPECT THE SUPERMARKETS ARE WISE TO IT NOW.Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

Shop at charity shop and second-hand markets. I picked up a perfectly good bread maker for £2.
Though I might add that the wife took the £65 savings and bought a set of Monet (whatever that is
)
However it is still a great tip if you are single.
