I know - but me and most of my mates were taking drugs when we were teenages and none of us got addicted!! None of us had any problems at all. I was taking acid every weekend when I was 17 and had the time of life in a very safe environment!

A LOT of us however, got into problems with alcohol. One lad died, one of my friends was raped, I've wet myself a few times, all of us have been ill, most have ended up having sex with strangers, a few of us have been in serious fights, one of my mates was in hospital on her 16th birthfday getting her stomach pumped...the list could go on and on and on where booze is concerned.

But problems from any of our times taking recreational drugs, zero!
And no one I have ever met in the "drug world" (which is really the club/pub/sitting room world) has ever gotten addicted. As teenagers, or older.

Yes drug addictions are bad. All addictions are! but we're just going round and round in circles in this thread until people understand that drug addiction isn't the same as recreational use. And that recreation use of the likes of coke is pretty much safe as houses (as safe as houses as anything can be in the "having a bit of fun" world).

If you dont want your teenagers to be in any danger what so ever, you have to lock them in their rooms until they're 40...although most accidents occur in the home...

Now you've done it sandy. He'll have gone into a frenzy of paranoid insecurity and be busy enrolling in new associations and clubs in a manner similar to Ivana Trump at the january sales. Cue the big loser coming on in a while pretending he has been in "a meeting" or something equally lame and implausible.

Great point - my best mate got stabbed 17 times (He survived) by some drunken nutter in a pub for looking at his bird the wrong way (She bent over and showed some knicker picking something up, my mate made a comment to the guy he was with, the girls BF overhead and took offence).

Imagine someone on a pill or smoking a joint doing that? Maybe someone on coke could, though personally it never made me aggro.

Acid isn't generally dangerous SA, though it can cause schizophrenia in some people. So no it isn't surprising you got through your teenage years unaffected, and when you were older you sniffed a bit of coke, and obviously no effects, but if this girl snorts cocaine to excess, she's playing with fire.
