When I was at uni, there was this mature student doing the same course (well he was 29 that was soooo mature for us) anyway he smoke weed, and he would offer it free to any of the other kids, once I heard him offering it to a fresher (18 years old) although I wasn’t that much older than her, I got so angry with that guy, and threatened the girl if she takes anything from him I’d personally go direct to her parents (yes I was annoying even when I was at uni – actually I was more annoying then)
And do you know how Drew Barrymore starting taking drugs at the age of 8? A friend of her mums kept offering it to her, she’d go to play with their kids and the mum would offer her drugs…Comment

SAndy, that wasn't being annoying, that seems to have been responsible, looking out for someone else against someone who should have known betterComment

I have difficulty believing where this debate is going. We're talking about a teenager who possibly has a drug problem. You shouldn't just ignore it, you should tackle it, that doesn't mean to say having a row, it means trying to understand whether there's a serious problem and trying to deal with it.
Cocaine is illegal for good reason, because it is a lot stronger and more dangerous than alcohol, so requires a lot more maturity to deal with than alcohol. Alcoholism is a disease that takes decades to develop, Cocaine abuse can get out of control within weeks or months.I'm alright JackComment
