I wish someone would invent a duvet with an extra flap of material in the middle. You know, when you're in bed back to back with each other, and both your shoulders get freezing.....this is where the flap would come in, to tuck in between you, keeping both said shoulders snuggly and warm.

I think this is a function of girth. The higher off the surface you are, the bigger the gap.

Hmmm - I'm not sure we'd be able to successfully market a "Girth Flap".
