and of course we only take in highly educated people
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

You mean like Norway? Insular and outside the great EU?

At the same time, the world's 200 richest citizens are enjoying a combined wealth of more than $1,000bn.

These fact are highlighted in the United Nations' latest world development report.

Canada tops the UN table for the seventh successive year, followed by Norway and the United States.

If you look back in history, GB or the UK or whatever you want to call it has been as successful a nation using it's own people.

Innovation & Manufacturing have been some of our strengths in the past.

Dim by name, dim by nature, clearly.
Norway is a small country which has oil reserves it has managed wisely.
Canada and the US have high immigration.
              What's your point?

Norway is a small country in Europe that is not big on immigration and is outside the EU.

UK is a small country in Europe that is big on immigration and is inside the EU.

                  Both have oil.

One is 2nd most prosperous country in the world, the other is a crappy backwater of Europe on the verge of bankruptcy.

Can you work out which one made the correct political decisions?

My point is that Britain was forced to introduce immigration because a large proportion of the indigenous population are either too lazy or too poorly educated to prop up a large developed economy. For that matter even Germany had to do that in the 50s and 60s. Japan on the other hand is highly regimented as a culture and people work hard based on societal pressure.
