Maybe not them but I think the "Tapas 7" are hiding something.

How do you know they knew? Who's to say it wasn't someone walking by. Who's to say it hadn't been scouted. Both are possible. As I said, the only person who knows is the person who did it. Until then the question serves no purpose.

In public, no. In private - who knows?
...and like I said, people base it on what they see. All I'm doing it explaining why people are feeling the way they are. Why are you taking it so personally? Human nature is what it is - it isn't wrong!!

Actually - Gerry played tennis, allegedly (According to one waiter). And not 2 days after either.
What makes your information more reliable than mine like? I've read/heard mroe than one tale of both of them playign tenis, together, accounted by various mambers of the hotel staff (not the restaraunt staff).

Can't verify this one anywhere. But even if it's true, what it's supposed to signify - they must be guilty?
We saw them doing it, every day on the news. Cameras walked them in, then walked them out. Every single day, from the start of the ordeal.

You've never travelled with kids then obviously. If the agenda is to get publicity for Madelaine, as it clearly was then dragging your kids around with you might not be the easiest or best thing to do.
Why would you assume I hadn't travelled with children?!
Again I'm explaining to you why people are feeling the way they are. if you had one child taken, you'd freely leave your others with strangers, to make your 1st class private jet trips around the world easier? Oh come on.

Again, what's this supposed to signify - some sign of guilt? My wife washes stuff up all the time, I better start getting worried?
Every single mother I've talked to about this has flagged this one up as being the most bizarre thing they've ever heard. That toy would have smelt of Maddeliene - why would she wash it? It just looks suspiscious. Surely if your child died/was snatched you'd want to be able to smell them? Again human nature would cling on to stuff like that. If my other half died, I wouldn't wash his shirts that were lying around on the floor! I'd hug them, smell them, cling to them for dear life!

How do you know they didn't? He's a suspect that's all. They're two doctors, presumably clever people, they're not going to say anything about a suspect until a conviction.
This was based on the press conferece I saw them give 2 hours after Murat was officially named.

Again how do you know they didn't?
Again, just explaining why peopel are havign feelings based on WHAT THEY ARE SEEING.

People just dont get this behaviour!

Yes I'd be a mess. Yes my wife would be a mess. And yes, eventually I'd try to do stuff that took my mind off it, for me that would be physical exercise of some sort. And equally I think I'd be more similar to Gerry in thinking I had to be strong and take control and care of things, especially in public - would that mean I'd be guilty too?
No it wouldn't mean you'd be guilty. Much like I ended my post saying "of course this doesn't mean they did it", which you didn't choose to quote me on.
My whole post was meant to show you why people are feelinG the way they are.

One question Snaw - Are you sayin that you dont think any of their behaviour is in the slighest bit suspiscious?
        The pope is a tard.

I disagree. The question is pertinent and fundemental to the case.

But hey, who am I to argue with an arrogant Scot with his head so far up his own anal tract?

It may be pertinent but as I said you've got absolutly no way of knowing barring asking the person who did it, so right now it serves no purpose.

Arrogant Scot eh? Ironic coming from a guy who continually displays his disdain for people north of the border.

Only certain Scots, as I've said before, Fleming was a good guy.

I can't see any problem with the McCanns using the fund to pay their essential costs to enable them to continue the fight to get Maddy back.

This is pure sensationalism by the press.

They could perhaps mitigate criticism by only paying the mortgage interest after arranging with the lender to stop repaying the capital (assuming a capital and interest arrangement).

However, I think they have more on their minds than keeping a few pre-judgmental idiots like some of you lot happy about finances - they really would like to get their daughter back and, failing that, at least find out what happened to her.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
