It all depends on your own personal tastes.

I was in Havana last year and got to visit the factory where they make them, fantastic experience!

All the major Cuban brands are made in the same factory. The ones considered the best by the Cubans are Cohibas, the ones Fidel smokes (smoked) so they come with all that jazz. Romeo and Juliet are made in the same factory as are Monte Cristo’s.

Also there is the cut to consider, torpedo ends (the exploding variety in any good old cartoon) are the more expensive, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they are a better smoke.

My favourite are Monte Cristos number 5’s but it really does depend on the individual.

Perhaps go to a few Cigar shops and see what takes your fancy.

(a nice side would be to get a good cigar case and an engraved cigar cutter)
    "Wait, I still function!"

Fill the box with an assortment of those you cant decide. Sometimes it is nice to have more than one option.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

How long have you been a non smoker for again? A safe enough amount of years?
Just over a year. In that year I've smoked about 3 cigars. It doesn't make me want to smoke ciggies, so its OK.

Haven't had a ciggie for 6 years but still don't trust myself to go near a cigar.

You'll know yourself whether you're "safe" enough or not. I wouldn't be - not just yet anyway.

You've done so well - would you say you've 100% cracked it now?
I really feel like I have. I've started to hate the smell of smoke - I detest being round people who smoke too (I've turned into an inti smoking nazi )

Yes I really think I have. I still get the odd urge, especially after a pint or five, but if you ignore it it goes in about 20 seconds.
I count it as one of the achievements in my life - to which non-smokers will say why did you start in the first place, but your younger self is a different person.
And my bank account has definitely seen the benefit.
Now, lass, we just have to get you fighting fit and sporty.
