I think Rockworld is still the best Rock club in the country, I can't think of a better one. you do get some kids but there are at least two adult rooms (no Sally it's not like the cinema). There used to be a cracking little club down Witworth Street (the venue) still think it's one of the best clubs I've ever been to.
We used to drink in the Salisbury and talk to the street busker (with the big dreds) his name was Jay and his dog was Tay, used to have the most Bizzare stories clearly made up and usually ending with him having a red hot poker rammed up his xxxx
Was very funny thoughThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

Sorry, got to disagree - Burton Road in 'West' Didsbury has all the best curries, although I've heard good things about EastZEast.Originally posted by chef View PostFor a curry get a taxi to Rusholme for the Curry Mile
Could be good!Originally posted by chef View PostI love going out on tours of manchester.. shame im stuck in this armpit (Reading), at some point we should have a CUK Manchester meet-upComment

Sinclair's used to be my local ( pre IRA bombings ), never heard of the Triangle so it shows how long ago it was. My 'clubs' were the 'Conti' and even grimmer The Cyprus Tavern, I suspect they are long gone now. The Cyprus was decidedly dodgy to put it mildly !Originally posted by Zorba View Postalthough my favourite pub in Manchester is 'Sinclair's' near the TriangleComment

Did anyone else interpret that as an invitation to stay at Chef's after a northern CUK night out?Originally posted by chef View Postchef in "they're all coming to get me" paranoid mode
That's what it sounded like from here...Comment

The curry mile serves up some of the worst curries i've ever had in my life. Only students, drunk people and complete idiots go there for a curryOriginally posted by Zorba View PostSorry, got to disagree - Burton Road in 'West' Didsbury has all the best curries, although I've heard good things about EastZEast.Coffee's for closersComment
