I think Rockworld is still the best Rock club in the country, I can't think of a better one. you do get some kids but there are at least two adult rooms (no Sally it's not like the cinema). There used to be a cracking little club down Witworth Street (the venue) still think it's one of the best clubs I've ever been to.

We used to drink in the Salisbury and talk to the street busker (with the big dreds) his name was Jay and his dog was Tay, used to have the most Bizzare stories clearly made up and usually ending with him having a red hot poker rammed up his xxxx

      Was very funny though
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Sorry, got to disagree - Burton Road in 'West' Didsbury has all the best curries, although I've heard good things about EastZEast.

Sinclair's used to be my local ( pre IRA bombings ), never heard of the Triangle so it shows how long ago it was. My 'clubs' were the 'Conti' and even grimmer The Cyprus Tavern, I suspect they are long gone now. The Cyprus was decidedly dodgy to put it mildly !

Did anyone else interpret that as an invitation to stay at Chef's after a northern CUK night out?

That's what it sounded like from here...

I'm sure it was a very posh rat, though. Or if not posh, exclusive.

Get a cab to Piccadilly rail station and hop aboard the first train to London: you'll be spoilt for choice.

The curry mile serves up some of the worst curries i've ever had in my life. Only students, drunk people and complete idiots go there for a curry
