Manchester nights out

Well, Friday night was 'OK' we headed off to the Northern Quarter but everywhere was very quiet.
Went into 'Old Orleans' in the Printworks and there was 4 people in the bar!
We went in a few places around there but it was all pretty much the same so we headed back down towards the hotel at about 11:30, to find a club around Picadilly Gardens, but everwhere was closing. I spoke to a couple of bouncers and they all said the same, that everwhere was dead because people were saving their money to come out and watch the Rugby on Saturday, and that the only place that was likeley to be busy was the gay district.
We had a wander through it but didn't venture in anywhere.....
Saturday night was loads busier, however we left it too late and Goucho's was fully booked, so we headed down to the deansgate locks to get something cheep and chearful to eat down there.
Had a good night but we missed out on the quiet meal so tonight we are heading over here...
