After 6 months' contracting I won't be waiting around on any bench. So, they just can't get around to the admin to renew the contract that they said they definitely would. So no going in next week until it's sorted out and time to start to looking around for something else. I always knew that the 2nd contract would be trickier than the 1st but at least I've stashed some cash and it's sunny.

Haven't seen the sun for several days here in Paddington. The sky is full of greys - must be a sign of the big push...

There are very few companies operating in my field and I know people contracting in all of them so it won't take long to work out the situation.
