I'm doing it as an act of personal revenge. The guy did me over in a business deal a few years back. Do unto others as they do unto you and all that.Comment

Break his legs?
I'm not being an internet message board macho man here.
In the real world if I broke his legs I would be jailed for a long time.
In the real world if I anonymously expose a crime he has committed I am perfectly in the right legally. I could even commiserate with him over a pint.Comment

lol I'm only joking about the breaking legs part but seriously don't grass someone up, how would you feel about yourself? Lowering yourself to his standards and all that?
If it's business then just take it on the chin and learn from it, or do something else, grassing him up to IR is pretty low.Comment

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but where the Nazi party not a political party reponsible for mass murder?
Comparing the OP to anything that the Nazi party did is just nonsense and offensive.
As for the 'grass' issue. anyone who defrauds the inland revenue is defrauding me, as my taxes will go up to pay for his shortfall.
I would not hesitate to 'grass' on anyone who is knowingly defrauding the IR, weather they had crossed me in the past or not.
Don't forget tax evasion and tax avoidance are 2 different things.Comment

It can't be that difficult. Just make sure you stay in control and don't be drawn into saying more than you set out to.
I'm all in favour of making sure people pay "the right amount of tax" (i.e. more).Comment
