Apparently Sal you and I are the only ones in this conversation who are straight.
It would appear that the rest of them have homosexual feelings but choose to ignore them and infact have learned to supress them, or did I misunderstand this choice thing.
I suppose that what I'm trying to say is that I don't believe that there is a real "condition" of being homosexual. I believe that it is a "choice" thing.
Who's to say that SA with her comments of "being repulsed" isn't sufferring from some kind of social conditioning or "programming" if you will?

Btw, you're all wrong and I'm right!
So its society's fault if you're gay, and its society's fault if you're not?!
Do we chose to have sex with the people we have as partners? Or is there no choice?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

have I got that right?
you've left, so you can have no further part in this discussion....
I really get hacked off with people who say I quit make a big hoo-hah over it and then come back spouting stuff, politicians do it all the time, and its wrong, if you don't agree fight from within, if you bale out then stay out.

Thats a very good point actually bagpiss (must be Xmas again already).
Proper lust - thats not a choice.
Love - isn't a choice either.
Companionship - yes thats a choice.
Making yourself live a straight life when you're gay (i.e. hiding your feelings and forcing yourself to be something you're not), thats very similar to a marriage of convenience/arranged marriage/staying together for the "sake of the kids".
Plenty of people live a lie - all of them are idiots. The ones who are forced to, they're the ones I'd fight for, any day of the week.

I really meant it the other day!
I get too worked up about stuff sometimes - its the fiery ginge in me, like I've said. I get passionate about stuff - cant help it.
But fortunately, I'm also very good at admitting when I've been a tit. Which I was the other day.
I'm glad we are all done and dusted now, so we agree these books are a bad thing?

But Sally you would have books in school advising kids to take coke, you're hardly an appropriate moral guardian to our children!

Where are you going with this?
I choose if I am going to have sex.
I choose who I am going to have sex with.
I don't choose who I find attractive in the first place.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!
