    Well, it's a bit surprising - I was expecting it to be more. Maybe US trade isn't as important as Trump wants the world to believe.

      I think we might be in a recession. Its just that nothing major has broken (well, other than China...) so its not an acute crisis. Yet.

        Don’t worry, Rachel is advising caution when interpreting these figures, although I don’t recall much caution when she interpreted the other (equally BS) monthly figures that came in above expectations

            Reeves is a clueless person that has no understanding of the real world. She should be working as an accademic. Yup, they are going to tax the tulip out of us whilst sinking the country further into debt. I just worry about the kids who will inherit this mess.

                What we need is a good old fashioned crash/recession/crisis. Over-debted businesses and banks liquidated. A painful reckoning followed by a fresh start.
