I'm thinking about replacing the wife's Q3 with a Karoq

My wife has a Karoq. Very pleased with it.
The 2l petrol automatic mpg is as one might expect - not great, but milage is low anyway and performance is good in sport mode

Quite a few friends of mine are driving Karoq's at the moment, they all seem pretty happy with them, another vehicle to look at in that Sector is the Mazda CX-30, again very popular round here if you are not one of the entitled!

Yes, that was the one I was looking at, basically she'd be going from a 2l Q3 quattro to a 2l Q3 quattro with a different badge on it and a lot more goodies, for about ten grand less.

Paid extra for the adaptive cruise / traffic assist. I've got to say, it's great in traffic jams although it is good to be ready on the brake just incase; I've really not come to trust it 100%, but that's probably me. I'm used to driving a decade old manual car with no automation.

One gripe is that the stop/start defaults to 'active'. So I'm forever turning it off for local driving since the start lag annoys me at junctions. The automatic headlight dipping is just brilliant and makes night driving much easier. It's taken me a while to adapt to driving a modern car, and I can still park better with mirrors than the camera!

My other half has a Tucson petrol hybrid. No lag from stop-start at all. Not my cup of tea but it's a no brainer when driving in traffic jams into and out of the citeh!
