Its psychological though. I'd be suprised if it was leashold though as the houses are seperated from the flats by a road (well cul-de-sac).

Apart from the tarmac out the front that the cars sit on (2 spaces per house) there is not much in the way of shared ground that we all need.

Take a good look for storage space. Modern houses tend to maximise 'living space' at the expense of storage space. You will need somewhere to store crap like ironing boards, vacuums, bikes, misc junk. Plus, if the bedrooms haven't got built in wardrobes you will need some of those.

If you're at all concerned about nearby development, check with the local district council planning department & see if there have been any applications. You could also check whether they are planning to put any flood defenses in between you and that boggy field

Yeah, I plan to get a small shed for the back. Just enough to put a bike in. As for Ironing board I have no idea if I'll even have one.
