Batteries for moral purposes. I have noticed that manufactures, in particular Duracell and Energizer have reduced the power output of the AA & AAA batteries to such an extent that they will no-longer power my devices after two or three uses (such as blood pressure monitors and suchlike). I have resorted to buying Lithium only. My point is, don’t throw away equipment thinking it’s faulty when in fact it down to poor quality batteries.

I tried them in an old BP monitor and a brand new one, they lasted just a few goes. I bought various makes but had similar results however, I bought Lithium AAs from Amazon and no problems, thanks.Originally posted by fatJock View PostSounds like dodgy batteries - I used a BP monitor daily for three months and never had to change them.
