And by your admission they receive benefits. Now that the threat has been removed they have no reason to stay and can go home - if they can't afford to pay for flights then the government will step in and help.

20000 Syrians have been granted asylum in the UK in the past ten years. So these ones are not illegal immigrants.

Once you've been applying for asylum of 12 months, and it's not a delay due to you, there is a list of jobs you can sign up for. So there we have it, approved asylum seekers can work and after 12 months many awaiting approval can work. And do.

But you know this. As I said, you're just trolling.

The threat for which asylum was granted has now gone. Surely these refugees can now return to their homelands - if their original claim for asylum was genuine.

With regards to your figure of 20000 I assume you're referring to the 20000 that were accepted as part of the "Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme" and not the ~8000 who have crossed the channel illegally since 2020?
