    Freeagent question

For those that use Freeagent: is there a way to stop it nagging you to download their mobile app, other than by doing what they demand? Does the "Lets get you off to a flying start" banner at the top that takes up a lot of useful real estate ever go away?

It's really beginning to p*ss me off.

I can't see me sticking with this outfit for very long.

I remember seeing the banner, but I don't have it anymore, (But I did download the app) what me annoys are the Monday morning emails, which I can't stop

The mobile app is useful although I tend to use the desktop version more on a large screen.

I don't get any Monday emails - there must be a simple way of turning notification emails off, no?

I don't know what other alternatives there are but for my contractor needs it seems to work very well.

Communication Preferences in Settings will kill the Monday emails and a few other things

Doesn't seem to cover everything but I don't ge the nag banners for the app etc.

Maybe those pop up nags and banners go away after a while then. Fair enough.

I turned off the Monday emails in the notification settings. No idea who needs them.

Also discovered that you can set a project budget but you can't track invoicing against it. To be fair, Xero also couldn't work out how to deduct the invoiced to date total from the budget to show you what was left. I have no idea why that's so hard.

There's loads of niggles that I strongly dislike about it now that I'm outside the 30 day free trial period and properly using the product.

I used to use the FA app pre-covid times, it was handy to take a picture of my travel receipts and also when working away, however I never use it now.

Never realised about binning off the monday motivator email, that's a bonus.

My only beef with FA is my business bank doesn't do the auto feed, but can't be arsed to move banks.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

Free Agent is one of those things that i can’t imagine how i got by without. I put it in the same bracket as sat nav, pale ale and non-iron shirts.
