Where is the subsequent ridicule....? I cannot see any. I mean, there are probably examples of people laughing at you, in general, but not for that specific assertion.

There was always a fair chance that Farage would get in, for starters he could pick the most Reform / Brexit voting constituency

As for him destroying Starmer at PM Questions sure he can turn up and be the insulting clown but you know he only gets one question with no right of reply

Total BS. Pretty much every post on that topic in this thread accepts that Farage has a decent chance of winning Clacton, even from the very earliest posts. It's about the only seat where Reform is favourite, based on limited polling, with the rest of the handful of possibilities being a toss-up. Again, you are making stuff up, presumably to plead vindication when Farage wins Clacton and 2-3 extra seats, if they do well

I think that's Dickie Holden's (Tory chair's) seat that he was parachuted into, so I sincerely hope they do win there or, at least, that he loses.
