A Los Angeles court has thrown out the first of more than 50 cases against women who claimed on a private Facebook group that a man was a bad date.
Stewart Lucas Murrey from Santa Monica in California has sued 50 women for defamation and sex-based discrimination.

The women posted on a Facebook group titled Are We Dating The Same Guy? Los Angeles, which has almost 54,000 members, that Dr Murrey had behaved inappropriately on dating apps including Tinder and Hinge.

Wow, what an utter mess that is. I'd be interested to keep an eye on that. Not much fact in there so would be interesting to see how it pans out. Very easy to assume he's just another guy using dating apps to shag anything that responds... a bit like 99% of men do on these things, and where he's a prick with a broken moral compass, he may not have done anything illegal or technically wrong. That said, he might have, time will tell.....But then on the other hand...

In their GoFundMe page, the women said: "We were simply coming together to share truthful accounts of our personal experiences.

This could also be true but the whole page could be a man hating nest of vipers. Hate me for saying it but you know it's true. When a group of people come together on social media like this truth and fact can often dissappear out the window. I mean any group at all, regardless of gender and topic.

I don't think anyone is going to come out of this looking good, least of all him by the sound of it, but interested to follow this one.

Friends & relatives use these things and there appears to be a large volume of chancers on both sides. Women who expect free meals and men who want free sex without the effort.

Had to admire the brass balls of one chap who having lived with one woman for six months he came on to her friend a week after she kicked him out, her friend lives round the corner.

I was on old people's social media yesterday (YouTube) hearing a story about a guy in South Africa who used to rob his dates.He eventually killed his long term girlfriend, scammed more people, dated an old school friend, bribed the prison guards, escaped and got caught due to his mother's DNA trying to fler the country.

There was also another guy in the old US of A who used to take his dates to expensive restaurants, order loads then sneak away leaving them with the bill. He got some time when the police caught up with him, but it wasn't clear what for.

Then there are the "influencers" female as well as male who use their "influence" to sleep around and exploit people. It goes wrong when they target another "influencer"

So stories of scumbags online around the world are well-known.
