I suspect there is truth in that, they hate them with a passion.

I suspect they will raze Gaza to the ground, strip search all the occupants for weapons, imprison or kill anyone armed and create a tent city for the refugees or march them to Iran / Egypt. No more Gaza strip or Palestine.

They are fairly pragmatic, the death toll is about 1000 innocent Israelis, they are fairly pissed (understandably) but they know better than to kill everyone they dislike they need world opinion.

That's what makes this Hamas attack even more retarded, they seriously thought they can just jump over the border, kill several hundreds civilians, go back and Israel would drop a few bombs and stop? This is what Israel needed to go all in and wipe them once and for all (not civilians, but anyone even remotely connected with Hamas will most likely get dropped at the first chance, also they will bomb whatever they like claiming it's Hamas's strategic positions and not give two tulips about civilian causalities).

We don't think the same as them. It's the same with all Islamic terrorists. Their aim isn't really to kill anyone, that is just the means to achieve their objective of a religious war. They want Israel to respond, they want Israel to go bloodthirst crazy. They hope the Muslim world would then wipe Israel out.

If Israel invade then I really wouldn't be surprised if Hamas just bombed and shot anything that moved, Palestinian or Israeli. The higher the body count the better the more likely the holy war starts.
