I read about this proposal a few weeks ago. If India officially renames itself Bharat (at the UN etc), Pakistan will leap in and claim the name India - so it's never going to happen. Bharat has been an unofficial name for India for a long time. -
Canada is now openly blaming Indian agents for killing Sikh separatist on Canadian soil.
Will add to Indian fears that the West (the US and it's poodle states) are supporting separatist movements and they want to destabilise things in the country.Last edited by Fraidycat; 24 September 2023, 01:03.Comment
