Of course peoples' opinions can be changed. Most of us think it's not laughable that a lady be allowed to vote or hold a high-power job, as just one example. Far fewer people in the UK think that a gay relationship should be illegal than was once the case. Support for capital punishment and the death penalty waxes and wanes over the decades as public opinion is swayed by leaders, celebs, etc.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Is it because their opinion doesn't match yours?Comment

I get what you are saying about you don't care and aren't concerned as it doesn't affect you. Fair enough, so move on to the next thread. You might not care but it doesn't take away the fact that's a pretty devisive and problematic opinion.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

If it was the best colour of a car or who's the best political party yes but something as decisive as it's not OK to be what 72% of the US population is. It's an opinion on a poll but it is likely to affect how these people think and act which goes beyond an opinion.

It would have been interesting to know what that figure has been over the last few decades. I'll be willing to be its going up at a fair rate, to what end ? A race war?
But yeah, todays shock news will be long forgotten by the weekend.Last edited by northernladuk; 27 February 2023, 19:40.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment
