      Agreed some of the ingredients on her list are +50% since then e.g. chopped tomatoes from asda that were 30p are 45p now

      However... semantics aside, if you have the time and (more importantly) the desire you can make decent enough meals very cheap

          Wage inflation is also at the highest rate in recent history which should be taken into account when saying "things cost more" especially given we are focusing on middle-earning working types here rather than those on minimum wage/benefits (which is a far grimmer picture, genuinely concerning).
