I think it must have been quite tough to give that speech.
The policies weren't inherently bad; they were "just" not costed, the wrong measures for the current time and poorly communicated. It's no wonder it all went downhill so fast. Some of those would have been great vote winners to announce next year.Comment

The current limit is set at £115,000 and has remained frozen since 2011.
That's PA for life, plus 10% on top for pension contributions.
