Other things function in European countries like public transport system and you get more holidays in plenty of them.Originally posted by FIERCE TANK BATTLE View Post
Wouldn't you just end up paying the same tax anyway working for UK companies or will you start working within the EU?
Moving to the EU would be great and all but if I have to go permie due to lack of jobs and language ability is there much of a saving? Other than actually having a functioning health service of course."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Haha for sure, there are many virtues. Was just interested purely in the tax aspect though, I thought the digital nomad paying less tax stuff is only if you work locally, rather than continue working for your company in the UK. I doubt you could set up a foreign company and work in the UK, they usually want VAT registration and company number and I expect they'd pitch a fit at anything different to this. And SC clearance would be an issue... since I got SC my daily rate went up about 25%... not sure I'm ready to give it all up just yet!Originally posted by SueEllen View Post

However she has to sit next to Hunt when he reads his statement.

I've got no love for Liz but I'm actually a little concerned that she may be suffering a mental health event. Her entire life's ambition has first been realised and then come crashing down in the space of just a couple of weeks. She didn't seem well to me at her most recent press conference and as far as I know hasn't been seen since. I actually feel bad for her but for her and everyone else's good she should step down quietly now.Originally posted by SueEllen View Post

You're probably on the money there. It would take a very strong person to not be having a meltdown, regardless of whether she brought it on herself.Originally posted by mattster View Post
