Johnson Resigns

Johnson won't stick around, for sure, and Pincher will be gone too, but I wouldn't fancy Frost's chances in a byelection pretty much anywhere - there isn't really a Tory safe seat in a byelection in the present context. So he would be taking a pretty big risk. I think it's unlikely he would stand. -
He can't stay because he's untrustworthy.Originally posted by malvolio View PostIt's a better resolution than simply walking away. We still have a PM in position, the plotting and backbiting will transfer to the leadership candidates so he can get on with the other problems we face, and it can all be done in a reasonable timescale.
59 ministers and PPS have gone. These minor roles are part of the government machine that keep the country running.

BBC is very slow.......
I cannot see how Boris could get anyone into the cabinet for the interim unless he simply invites everyone back?
The fun is just starting...
edit: although as BBC point out the summer recess is nearly here so we don't really need even the facade of a working governmentLast edited by d000hg; 7 July 2022, 09:51.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
